Question about Dextrose

Ok I'm planning on taking dextrose before a workout and my question is how much should I take. I'm going to be mixing it with my pro-lab n-large, or muscle milk?

I'm going to be getting it from kentnutrition so the package says: 1 scoop has 11g. So how much should I take

Why would you take dextrose before you workout, a pre workout shake should have maltodextrin instead of dextrose. You should have dextrose in your pwo shake with whey protein.
