using marijuana to bulk
I've heard that if you smoke marijuana while bulking it increases your appetite and can help you eat alot more calories, has anyone tried this?

It's not healthy to smoke pot on a regular basis. You would have to smoke at least 5 times a weeks IMO to see a regular increase in appetite. There is much healthier and easier way to increase the appetite...exercise. Please don't plan on smoking pot reguilarly and tring to bulk at the same time. It just is not smart.

I have done it. It definately increases your appetite short term. As was said earlier, it is not the best way to try and increase your appetite. B-12 is definately a healthier way. I however like smoking pot occasionally and when i do i make sure to do it after i workout that day and i eat a ridiculous amount of clean foods about 1 hour or 2 hours after blazing.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.... I've been stuffing myself the past month and now that my apetite is mad.... I used to be able to get full but now I can never feel full no matter how much I eat, so I just have to decide when to stop eating. Wierd, but I like it!

I'd go with b12 instead because its healthier and cheaper.

I've tried the b-12 at 500mg and I've noticed no increase in appetite to speak of. I'm going to start doing cardio three times a week with my HR monitor and keep HR at 65-70% and see if that helps. My work outs are usually 1.5-2hrs long including stretching. So I should be starving when I finish, but often am not.

I would have to say that the only time blazing would be beneficial while bieng on is when you get edgy, your mind plays tricks on you and or when u'r ultra sore from a workout just to calm your nerves down and I don't mean a big a$$ blunt....just a small lil one paper.....my .02 cents.........

Does smoking kill your guys strength?
I need to revisit the herb, I quit when I started working out. I haven't smoked in 6 years. It will probably be like the first time all over again.

The PROVEN lethargy that results from marijuana when used in that frequency would be detrimental to training, even for the most determined individual.

That's true, but I have found marijuana to increase desire or drive for things. But at the same time, it makes achieving goals harder it seems.

Obviously its not hurting those athletes too bad. Especially ricky williams, his stats are ridiculous.

I have smoked while on cycle but I wouldnt rely on it.
Plus oral b12 is a joke only 5% of what you take in gets absorbed so up it to about 5000mcg and you will feel more hunger. Plus its not like it just hits you right away after you take it. More like a progressive thing.
Injectable b12 is great!!
