Stacking R-ALA and Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR)

Anyone ever stacked these two?
What kind of results did you get?
Do you have to cycle them?
Can I take them while on cycle or should I wait till post cycle?
300-500mg R-ALA (pref with carb meals)?
2000mg ALCAR (split 2-3 times a day)?

I don't think you need to cycle them, but you should take biotin with the r-ala. That is a nasty fat loss stack. Throw clen or ecy in there and you'll be sh!tt!ng fat...

Actually, if you've seen my pics (there are some recent ones in the member pics section), I'm not anything near fat. I just want to clear up some chunk around my lower stomach and also tighten up some slight love handles. Maybe this R-ALA, ALCAR and clen is overkill...

Either way, thanks for the reply. Oh, do you have an opinion on whether its cool to take this stuff while on cycle? Will it hinder gains or anything like that? Oh yeah, did those doses look alright? 350-500mg R-ALA split up with meals and 2000mg ALCAR split up over the day?

The r-ala and alcar wont hinder your gains. Actually they may increase your gains, since the r-ala makes your muscles more sensitive to glucose, and the alcar can help your body use fat for fuel instead of protien. Oh yeah, taking them during your cycle is a good idea.

Yeah they won't hinder gains, alcar for adipose burning and r-ala for using the carbs you eat for fuel. Should be good with a cycle.

the alcar and glucorell combo is quite popular.

as a general rule of thumb 600-100mg glucorell to 2-3g of alcar.

some people dose as high as 10g with alcar- though IMHO over 5g for most people is wasteful (note- some people particularly those with certain heart condition may greatly benefit from the higher dosing regimin)

typically no.

unless simple carb intake is very high over 50-75grams(muscle and bodymass dependant)
