    Ion exchange whey protein isolate

I stopped in health food store in between class for a quick shake. While looking in the fridge I noticed what appeared to be juice with 40 grams of protein. I got it, and gave it a shot and found it was actually thirst quenching and not bad tasting. I know some nutrients of whey are lost during the ion exchange process, but still, wouldn't this be a good supplement to drink? Say, during a work out as it is a good source of protein, and thirst quenching at the same time. Anyone use this type of protein isolate regularly, and would you say this product has any real value, or is real whey the only way to go?

iso pure is good stuff its only lost if high heat is used during the ion exchange. But you cant be sure wether or not they used low heat.
