I get up and to an hour of low impact cardio five days a week and eat 45 mins to an hour later and take my eca with that meal. Does anyone take it right when you wake up, before cardio? Advantages? Disadvantages?

I have been advised to take it in the am before cardio to help get my arse outta bed, haven't done it yet.
I don't necessarily have a problem getting out of bed. Is it safer to wait with the ECA until after cardio?
I would not do it before IMO you don't need the extra stress on your heart.
I am inclined to agree. Anyone else? Also, I take two doses of ECA (25/200/81) a day and I still have a hard time going to sleep at night. I take my second ECA at 11AM.
i usually take mine on empty before cardio, but may change if this is not advisable
The point of an ECA stack is to give you an energy boost to do cardio. What I do is wake up and take 5g's of glutamine and my eca stack before hitting the elliptical for 50 mins at 65-70% of my MHR, I have my breakfast about 30 mins after my cardio and it does wonders.
I thought eca was to raise your metabolism throughout the day not an aid to do cardio
ephedra is a stimulant therfore i thought it would be best to take before low intensity cardio to give you that extra boost.
Does anyone have a definitive answer on this? Health risks, etc?
i take 1st stack first thing in AM, then do morning cardio 30 mins. later. 2nd stack usually around 3. IMO it is most effective for burning fat
ECA before cardio. Definite answer. As for health risks utilise the search function.Quote:
