Lowers blood sugar rapidly, more than ala.

Use carefully! It's a glucose disposal agent.

It's dependent upon how many carbs are in those other meals, and what they are (high or low GI) If it's not an abundance, I'd not use the V.S.

Back in the day, I would use the 50 mg ones (very potent!!!) with pwo meals, as they contained lots of carbs.

When I would take them with pro/fat meals (dumb), after two meals I'd be d*mn near passed out from low blood sugar. Learned from that...........even "lower" carb meals deemed taking this not neccessary. The possibility of it being toxic the longer you use it, was another reason I'd place it only w/higher carb meals.

I wouldnt use it more than a couple weeks in a row, if used everyday. It can build up to toxic levels if taken continuosly. Although this is not likely, I still like to err on the side of caution.
