    Zinc And Magnesium (ZMA)

    Everybody knows that ZMA is supposed to release GH and help with Test production (apparently). I have been taking Zinc pills and Magnesium pills every night before bed, and I have not been having any results. Is there something about combining the two powders that can not be gained from taking them seperately (but at the same time)? I have heard people sleep good, and generally feel better while on ZMA, which I have had none of the above. I don't take either within 2 hours of milk or any other calcium (including protein shakes). So I can't figure out what it is, the two together actually seem to keep me awake. Any ideas?

    The Zinc pills are 50 mg, and the Magnesium are 400 mg (I take one of each). I was reading that is about the normal amount in ZMA pills.
