ephedrine and ephedrina differences .....??

Just wondering what the difference between the two are please ??

Are they as good as each other or is one worse than the other ?

This link should help...I think from reading the first paragraph that ephedrine is a pharmaceutical equivalent of naturally occuring ephedra...but I could be wrong.

As far I my knowledge spans, ephedra is the natural derivative ( not sure which fruit Ma Huang? or is that for caffeine? ) whereas ephderine is synthetic.
