Glycogen
to restore glycogen levels after a workout do you use glucose powder and how much , also what is the importance of l glutamine what are their different purposes

I use a 50/50 mix of dextrose/maltodextrin (75g total). This works very well for me. L-Glutamine is a good supplement, it is the most prevelent amino acid in the body. Since low glutamine levels are associated with muscle atrophy, supplementing with glutamine is a good way to stay in an anabolic /anti-catabolic state.
