    PWO carbs

    i heard some BB drink pop and things after their workouts to get some quick acting carbs. Would it be alright to eat some candy after a workout? I take dex and gatorade now after workouts.

    smarties.....why do you need to if you have dex and why with gatorade..mix it with protein ...2:1 ratio

    i mix my dex with protein and sometimes i drink some gatorade afterwards...

    smarties... what about sprees and runts and things like that??? mmmmmmmm

    arnt smarties made with like dex and maltodextin.... i think i recall nsa saying that... i could be wrong though

    closest to dex though if you wanted to take candy....the best would be pure dex imo

    I don't know what smarties are made out of. But i do know that sweet tarts are made mostly of dextrose and maltodextrin, and they taste alot better than smarties. Sweet tarts are by far the best candy PWO carb substitute for dex/malto that i know of...

    where is a good place to buy bulk dex.... i got 10 2lb bags......so 20lbs for 30....its pretty cheap but i think you can find it cheaper i have been searchin

    dex is best... jay cutler supposdly drinks half a coke with his pwo shake.. carbination hinders protein assimilation tho...

    does no1 else feel sick with dex at a 2:1 ration, i mean my pwo shake is already sweet as it is, adding dex to the mix makes me feellllll sick!

    Mine tastes like liquid candy. I love it. Who needs a cheat day, when you can drink one of these everyday you workout...

    did you ever catch that thread title " great hook up " or something like that? It was a hook up to dex... from a lab... it was free.. so was shipping... great freebie, it is still worth a try. I got mine and mix it with muscle milk and it really tastes like honey... mmm anywho, if you are desperate like "polangtum" said get 'em one way or another... if you have nothing.. a can of coke or 7 up will go a long way.
