L-carnitine source in Canada???
Hey guys, I'm usually able to locate whatever gray-market supplements I need just by asking around at different stores in the city (Toronto) but I can't find any l-carnitine or acetyl l-carnitine. Does anybody here know of a store in the Toronto area that carries it under the table or of a Canadian online retailer that does?? I'd really appreciate a PM is somebody can help me out. Thanks.

Liquid L-Carnitine is available at Noah's. There are 2 stores, one on Yonge, south of Bloor and one at Bloor and Spadina. They also have the cheapest prices that i have found for l-carnitine

Thanks alot guys/gals. That avatar is great SexyKitty...best one on the forums by far...back to the l-carnitine. Are you sure they have it at Noah's Yonge/Eglinton? I live at Avenue & Eglinton and have been by there many times and haven't seen it. Is it under the counter? Or maybe they don't know that they can't sell it.
By the way, I work at a supp store called Pure Life Nutrition at Avenue/Lawrence..if you ever need protein you should come by. Our prices are better than GNC and Nutrition House, even better than SND. We got 5 Ib. whey bins for $39.99.
Thanks again for the info.

The 5 Ib. bins are a mix of concentrate and isolate, 125 cals for 24 g of protein. The company that makes the protein is Olympic Nutrition, which is under contract with PVL, PVL manufactures the whey. It tastes just like PVL Whey Maxx, at least the chocolate does.
The l-carnitine is illegal to sell in Canada, that's why I was surprised that Noah's carries it. I'm going to head over today and see if I can get some.

Like Dally said, we got the liquid L-carnitine several months ago, picked up a few bottles so wouldnt have to go back to often so hopefully they still have it. Come to think of it, it was pretty hard to find, had to go to 3 or 4 different stores before we found it at Noah's.
The brand we got was made by "now", 1000mg liquid L-carnitine, in a brown bottle with orange label and yes it was on the shelf. Let us know if you find it there cause my bottle is almost empty.
