well i love solid protein chocomint, and i love myoplex low carbs cookie and cream.........my fav of all time was lean body coconut creme .....does anyone kno why they stopped making them ?

I can't believe all the people concerned with sugar in a protein bar: Sugar helps the effectiveness of the protein consumed after a workout, that is why it is in the bar. They say that you should always get your sugar fix after your workout.

well frenchcurler you have to understand some people buy bars to eat as meals .....not only postworkout so you wouldunt want a bar you eat for breakfast or late at night to have 30 grams of sugar and 35 grams of carbs with 30 grams of protein.......thats all they trying to say ....its alot easier to have shakes postworkout and most people buy the bars for meals on te go like me and i look for bars with 1-3 grams of sugar around 20 carbs and around 30 grams of protein thats a bar for me .......

Anyhow, I think that I'm the only MF on this thread that will say that ISS Ressearch make a bar called Pro 42 in 4 flavors and they are the best I've had! My favorite is the Almond Rocky Trail. There is also the Chocolate Attack, Peanut-Butter Collision, and Peanut-Butter Chocolate Chip. Try them! I have and stayed with them ever since.

I've recently tried those EAS lo carb cookies anc cream and blueberry, the 25g ones...damn. I think I'm headed up to 7-11 to get me a couple right now.

Solid protein honey almond or whatevr is awesome. only 2.5g saturated which is like the lowest ive ever seen.

papa is there a bar you dont like.....you likeed every bar soo far lol is there any u wont eat ......teh one bar i cannot put in my mouth is iron tek 3 cabr bars.......they are the grossest things i eva tasted .......i took one bite and through it out after taste for literally 30 mins

I eat the Balance Gold too. They're Carb 40% Pro.&Fat 30% each @ 210 calories. A lot of protein bars include collagen as a cheap AND inferior protein source but the Balance Gold DOES NOT (at least its not on the label). Also, you can get them at Wal-Mart for 96 cents each and sometimes on sale for 87 cents each. They DO taste great. I used to eat about 20-25 a week but I'm watchng my carbs more now and eat 10-15/week. I'll eat more the more overtime I work.

Optimum has a new Pro-Complex bar. 35 grams of protein and it's a combo. Tastes as good or better than any other on the market with a better protein blend and a few grams more. PB is the best flavor.

the best bar by far that i've had is Detour, i think it's by Next protein. tastes exactly like a snickers bar. calories and carbs may be a little high but if you're bulking definately the best bar.

Well i can tell you what bars not to try...
Do not eat the MET-RX malted milk ball bars
I choked one down after a workout 2 minutes later I puked...
I gave the other one to a buddy who liked milk balls, and he had to stop the truck get out started dry heavin and put grass and chaw in his mouth to get rid of the taste...Man was that hilarious<<
