RYR replacement
POLICOSANOL is a blend of long-chain alcohols (plant waxes) including 50% octacosanol (see *516) that is derived from sugar cane. Studies in humans and animals demonstrate that policosanol lowers LDL cholesterol & triglycerides while raising HDL much more than placebos, even more than statin drugs! Recommended dose varies from 10-20mg per day. 20mg also inhibited blood clotting as effectively as 100mg aspirin and lowered blood pressure somewhat.
Does anyone think this would be good as a Red yeast replacement?

Yes some even run both but policosinol tends to take a few months to really notice benefits
