    Acetyl L-Carnitine increases test receptors??

anyone heard of Acetyl L-Carnitine increasing the amount of testosterone receptors in muscle? i know it's fat burning effects are debated, but i read in a mag that it also enhances muscle recovery as well as what i stated above.
is this just another line of bullshit the supplement companies are trying to feed us?

yeah, article in oct flex says new research shows that it increases the amount of test receptors in muscle... that sounds a little to good to be true... by the way it is an article and not one of those ads that looks like an article...

Is the recommended ALCAR dose weight dependent?

or is there a standard dose?

I was taking up to 1500mg/ 3x daily and noticed nothing.

That should have been plenty, you could just be a non-responder.
