sulphate or HCL (both can irritate the stomach- particularly HCL)... you may need to lower your dose and work your way up (or take with food- which should help)

btw- some info on sulfates-- its based on water levels of sulfates, though the same applies

Health risks for humans who drink water containing high sulfate levels
People not used to drinking water with high levels of sulfate can experience dehydration and diarrhea. Kids are often more sensitive to sulfate than adults. As a safety measure, water with a sulfate level exceeding 400 mg/l should not be used in the preparation of baby food. Older children and adults become used to high sulfate levels after a few days

try building up to the 2000mg a day to adjust your body to it. Or you can take a copper supplement to aid in absorption.

20-25 grams of vitamin C will act as a pro-oxident, it will also pretty much severely disturb your gastrointestinal tract and throw off your stomach PH.

while there are a few fringe physicians that reccomend such doses, they are typically administered via IV.

most "main stream" (among those that accept mega C dosing- the main stream is actually against any form of mega dosing) doctors and researcers reccomendations are 5g per day max.

vitamin C costs about 6$/kg, so while not reccomending your course of action, you could take 50g a day for less than 30cents/day.

there is no need to convince, explain or refer- you may do what you wish with your body. The comments above were so that others, might consider and research before following such reccomendations.

there are some sites, and older IV research, that promote these kind of doses.

I know Poliquin thinks IV Vitamin C can cure cancer but....I generally take his theories with a grain of salt.
