    Egg Protein

    Is egg protein as effective as whey protein?
    Do any of you bros use it?

    Very effective but it is also a really slow digesting protein whey is utilized within 2 hours

    You want faster digesting proteins for post workout to be utilized by the muscles.

    And you would want slower digesting protein to be taken before bed as this way you can continueally get protein to the body while you are sleeping and not being able to eat.

    i would never want to replace all the nutrition and calories i get from eggs with an egg shake, but thats just me.

    I hear your opinion. But we are not talking about foods, we are talking about protein. Oviously foods are one important thing and protein is another.
