    Glutamine during or After AS??

    hi there,

    i got some glutamine finally. its tough to get here and rather expensive. i heard conflicting views on it: some say take it during AS to increase mucle growth, so say take it after to prevent breakdown and maximise gain keeps. any ideas??

    personally I'd take the glutamine at 10-20 grams a day during and post cycle.

    xenithon- If you really have a hard time getting glutamine I keep it in stock in our pro shop, and I'll be happy to ship it to you. PM me if you need supplement you can't get, and even if It's not in stock I can get it pretty quick. Here is the info on glutamine that I posted in another thread:
    Glutamine is an amino that research demonstrates increases protein synthesis, and transports nitrogen into your muscles. Also research from the American Journal of Clinical nutrition shows that glutamine elevates circulating growth hormone levels by over 400%

    I take it all the time and I am taking it now whilst on a cycle.Take around 10g a day

    10G post workout
    5g before bed
    ***When i take my piss at night, if i remember i take 5g

    When, post cycle rolls around, im going to be taking that like crazy with my clomid therapy. Probably 5g before every meal (7 total).

    DB101: Bro be careful right now sending Glutamine across seas. It's a "white powdery" substance that can be mistaken for Anthrax by the untrained eye. Jusy a heads up.

    you should always be supplementing with glutamine and BCAA's. always, like papa said

    I'll one further and add antioxidants and EFA's also. Though I will always use creatine because I can tell it helps my endurance and post recovery.

    Ya I force myself to take flax oil, i know it's beneficial, but id much rather have a couple spoons of natural pb...crunchy version....OMG!!! Love it, simply love it!
