Creatine wouldn't hurt, but I would tell him to save his money for protien and food.

the #1#1#1 Most important thing for somone your age to remember when taking creatine is.. DRINK LOTS OF WATER. years ago some wrestlers "kids" died "from creatine" their parents said.. basicly they wer cutting weight on cratine and dehydrated themselfs and they died.. pretty stupid to me.. but i dont want to hear another dumb ass parent like that kids mom that was at the steroids hearings blaming mark mcgwire becouse she was a bad parent.
    so PLEASE drink water.

i dont recommend creatine at all , dont care for the stuff...

hard training and things like protein and glutamine with a good diet is the best way to go
