i messed up my knee pretty bad snowboarding and took glucosamine for awhile until i got surgery. i used the osteo bi-flex brand and i think the dosage was 3 pills 2x day. it took a little while to kick in but i def. noticed a difference.

BB79, I've got a funky elbow as well.
Pick up some Glucosamine/Chondritis. The stuff i get is called Members Mark and its 500mg-Glucosamine and 400mg-Chondritis
I take three pills a day with meals and it's helped a lot. Took about 1-1/2 weeks for relief.`

    pheedno,
thanks for your reply bro. isnt members mark the walmart or sams club brand? ive never tried any of their supps, but if they are working for you, then i will give them a shot. i was told gluco/msm was the way to go, but youre saying gluco/chondroitin. which is better?

    ffs,
i have the osteo brand now, im glad it worked for you. makes it worthwhile taking it i guess.

Yeah, it's the walmart brand. I wouldn't have puchased that brand but the bottle I got was free, and it did the trick. I have never used gluco/msm before so I couldn't speculate on the better.
Hope the elbow gets to feeling better.

Damn Diesel, those are some great doses. I'll definately switch once my bottle is out.

By the way welcome back, how was the vacation?

Pretty much what all the bros said except Glucosamine and Chondroitin combine to take swelling down and lube the joints naturally. MSM has along with those two has been shown to actually regenerate cartilage.

If you can go eith a combo of all three.

No disrespect to allsportsnutrition.com but powershack.com has some good prices on these products. At least they used to. Have not check in a month or so.

It usually takes about 2-4 weeks for the products to build up and start benefitting. Hope this helps. I have done tons of research on "all-natural" therapies and try to share when I can.

    take care

I talked with a Natures Plus rep at one point and he told me that when you take Gluco. it starts at your neck and works it way down. Meaning, you would have relief in your elbows before your knees and knees before ankles etc.

I have not been able to find those Optimum tabs anywhere except online. I got my last bottle at allsportsnutrition.com.

    Good deal on the vac!
Thanks for the heads up on the tabs, I'll order with time to spare.

    diesel,
i dont it had one thing to do with the eq, as they were hurting slightly before i started my cycle. and they didnt really get any worse until i started the t-3/winny combo. this definitely aggravated those tendons and ligaments.
im of the opinion that the cyp/eq actually may have helped some...........
