Creatine is naturally found in some of the foods we eat, for example red meats. It increases the body's natural energy source (referred to as ATP) and promotes muscle recovery. ATP levels kick-in about 20 min. after taking it in orally so it's a good idea to take it 15-30 min. before a workout. Since the body (and muscles for that matter) are primarily composed of water, creatine allows the body/muscles to take-in more water, hence promoting a fuller look within the muscle belly. Hope this helps. -BB
