keep weight off during shoulder recovery

Got a torn labrem and calcium deposit surgery dec 6th. I wont be able to do cardio for a couple of weeks and was thinking of taking apidexin to keep weight off until I can at least do fast walking. Any feedback?

Plan on longer than a couple of weeks. You will be in a sling for 4 weeks and you will not want to jar it around, maybe some sta bike. Keeping the weight off is a bitch

Lower cal intake as you wont need so much, surly you can do fast walking with incline on a treadmill . Longer slower pace hits the burn cal zone.. faster pace is for cardio I.E fitness .

I'm about to go through the same thing so i'm cutting weight now as much as possible ... well fat weight obviously. I have to have a Glenoid Osteotomy ... they have to take a piece of my hip to rebuild the whole thing due to a misshapen socket.
