    Homemade ZMA?

What do I need to pick up a the store to do this. I just cant see myself paying what I paid for ZMA the last time around again. Its gotta be a lot cheaper to do it your own way. When I say Homemade I dont mean mixing it up and putting it into capsules. I just wanna know what to get. Z- Zinc, M- Magnesium?, A- ?
    Thanks guys

It's Magnesium Aspartate. The B-6 is for absorbtion... it's like E/C/A though - make sure you get the right ratio. And don't take it with milk, or anything containing calcium - if I can recall this stops the absorbtion of either the MA or Zinc.

30 mg zinc, 500 mg magnesium, and 12.5 mg of b5. Make sure you look in the ingreadents of each... some brands of zinc and mag have dicalcium phosphate in it... which is not good for reasons stated above.

12.5 mg of b6? I think mine came in tabs that are 1000 mg a piece. How am I supposed to get 12.5 mg?

Also, what if my b6 has dicalcium phosphate in it? I take it that is bad also. Right?

ZMA is more than just zinc and magnesium. One of the minerals is bonded to an amino acid to make it more bioavailable. Do some more research.

Maybe Froid didnt quite understand me. I was going from:

"30 mg zinc, 500 mg magnesium, and 12.5 mg of b5. Make sure you look in the ingreadents of each... some brands of zinc and mag have dicalcium phosphate in it... which is not good for reasons stated above."

Then I asked how he got his B6 measured in 12.5mg where my tabs come in 1000mg.

I still dont know about this...
