    Is this protien shake healthy?

Alright... i am trying to cut up right now, and was just wondering if this protien shake is suitable for my needs... I mix 3 scoops of vanilla whey protien, 1 banana, 3 tablespoons of peanut butter, 2 scoops of fat free ice cream, about 8 ice cubes, and about a cup and a half of whole milk. It tastes great, but is it too fattening?

Bro, that is a homemade weight gainer not protein shake. I would drop a lot of the stuff out of that.

How about mixing it with lowfat milk or water. Definitely not the PB (lots of fat) nor the ice cream (fat free, but full of carbs), the banana may be ok.

Hey, there's no such thing as a stupid question...only stupid answers. Sorry if I sounded sacastic earlier. To answer your question, yes that's too fattening. Try this, take the 3 scoops of protein, toss in the 8 ice cubes and either 1/2 cup skim milk (i prefer no milk when cutting instead use water) ditch the banana and ice cream and 2 of the 3 spoonfulls of peanutbutter.

    3 scoops protein
    8 ice cubes
1/2 cup skim milk (I'd use water instead)
    1 tablespoon of "natural" peanutbutter

    I hope this helps.

I like mine with Ice cubes, it makes it thicker, more like ice cream. BTW, how much protein is in each scoop? 3 may be too much depending on the amount of protein in it. Damn, I bet that shake was delicious!!

Oh, good question Swole.....if it's like 20 grams per scoop then I'd just stick with 2 scoops per shake.
