    Question Dextrose absorbed to quickly?

    I´m 136lbs and 5'9 female and I´ve been taking 5g of creatine, 40g of dextrose and 15g of whey after my weight training.
    I want to put on some more muscles.... but when I told a trainer that I know about the dextrose he didn´t like it and said that dextrose were absorbed too quickly and therefore not good for your body!
    What do you guys think???

    UUuuummmm no dextrose is exactly what you need and want in your postworkout shake for that reason in itself. You want something to absorb quickly and get into your muscles.

    So is the amount, I mentioned, of dextrose and whey ok for me?

    I think 30g would be more in line to your size. I also think that you should bump the whey to 25g.

    I though that was just clarified??
    25g of Whey
    40g of dex.
    10g of L-glut. or Glut. peptides


    Also tell the trainer to sux something fierce!! and he is talking out his azz.
