Abdominal Vascularity
At about what bf percentage do veins on the abs (lower) start to show up? I noticed this morning that mine are starting show up! My bathroom scale has me at 17.7% bf but I am beginning to suspect it is lower than that. Also, vascularity on my shoulders is becoming prominent and even starting to get some action in on the legs.
I am supplementing with L-Citulline (now Citrulline Malate), Beta Alanine and take a 2.5mg cialis daily. These sups no doubt help in vascularity but to what extent I do not know.Last edited by Brazensol; 08-03-2013 at 07:07 AM.

Turn around! Lets see the front. Is agree that youre a lot less than 17 but that's based solely on that back shot in your av

Oos. On the 2nd part re citrulline.. I'm spending way too much money on supps so lately I've been evaluating what I really need. Arginine, citrulline, and tadalafil are definitely mainstays. I can't believe how quickly my vascularity is improving. That didn't start until I added the above.

Really depends, I'm just over 12% and have a couple of decent runs on my lower abdomen. My old business partner was 15 % BF and that guy was like kelkel, just a roadmap everywhere. I tested his Nitric Oxide levels and he was OFF THE CHARTS. Just insane levels. So his vessels are constantly dilated. Which is pretty much our goal with the "vascularity stack". Over time, you'll develop more and more and it becomes more evident. Consistency is key because NO levels drop a lot faster than they climb. Cardio is a key player here also.
Obviously most important is to lower BF. This is why folks at 20% BF that have lean arms, can see some level of vascularity in the arms. Unfortunately, not much we can do to target fat loss, so we just have to keep working at it until the abdominal area fat diminishes.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

^^ We're discussing normal humans, not superhumans. Your veins have their own shadows. Leave us alone.
On a serious note, I'd love to see what your NO levels are.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Does your state of hydration make a big difference? If so, which state would be more likely to show vascularity off better?

It's only recent since I have had an issue with the abdomen area everywhere else is lean, ever since I reached my mid thirties; just plain stubborn. Slowly but surely they are dissipating, though!!
