Oral B12?
Would oral b12 be effective for increasing appetite?

No. Not in my experience. Somewhat worthless actually.

Tried the methyl b12 for that purpose, didn't work. Still taking it though for other benefits. They taste good too.

Yeah, I use the Jarrow methyl b12 lozenges. Tastes like cherry. So technically not oral I guess.
The drops they sometimes call oral, but sublingual would be technically correct (below or beneath the tongue).
Just a related observation for the op re b12 and appetite. Hope it helps.

You mean injectable? Yes. But you can get it online for your lab rats.

Oral is garbage.
Sublingual Methyl is good.

Increasing appetite? One can take Dronabinol, Megestrol acetate, or Somatropin. I am spelling from memory so I hope I got them right. These drugs are used in AIDS pts or failure to thrive babies. Raglan also help with digestion. These are all RX drugs

Sorry I didnt mean or suggest any rec drugs austinite. Sorry, I have read rules several times. Will correct, OP was in Texas. not a state that has laws passed for what I suggested. Sorry about the suggestion, will not happen again.
