PROTEINS: fast release vs. slow release
I've read a few posts about proteins where guys were comparing fast vs. slow release. I just bought Natures Best Isopure and also take Nitro-Tech.
Can someone explain fast vs. slow release and why one is better than the other. i.e fast release post workout and slow release in the morning.

ANYONE .... anyone at all????
Wondering if Nitrotech would be better than Isopure for post workout protein ... or a 'no sugar added' protein is better before bedtime ... where are all the guru's ??? Not playing in the supps section today?

whey is good for post work out since it is fast acting and you want to shuttle those aminos into the muscle cells right away.
Something like casein is good for a bed time shake so at night you get a slow release of aminos through out the night. Some even wake up during the night to make a shake.abstrack@protonmail.com

Definatley take the nitro tech post workout, it has a good amount of whey protien that will absorb fast, and also alot of bcaa's.

Really the only time you want a fast acting protein is postworkout because you need to get the nutrients to your muscles ASAP. Other than that you want a slow digesting protein that way it keeps a nice slow, steady supply of protein into your body throughout the day, especially at night when you're are sleeping to help against your body going into a fasting(spelling) mode.
