Need some advice on a basic supplement package

    Hey,

So I want to get into a basic BCAA, Glutamine, maybe Creatine package. I don't mind admitting that I am a little overwhelmed with the marketing that hits when I do internet searches.

Wondering if somebody here has a tried and true package they could recommend, and I can order on-line tonight.

I am a 45 year young mesomorph, 178 pounds, and my goal is to build as much mass and strength as possible. I workout 5 days a week, take 2 off, then start back 5 on: Shoulders, Legs, Arms, Back, Chest, 2 off , and repeat.

I am following the Milos Sarcev's "Secrets of the pros" nutrition guide, I found here in the diet section.

    Thanks!

    Boom

I'm not sure if you are trying to say you would like to buy a name brand product which includes the 3 supplements listed above but I would say your best bet would be to buy each of them in bulk as that will save you money. Amazon is a great place to find them.

Okay, that might make the most sense, also that will let me dial in the relative levels of each component. You partial to any particular brands of BCCA's, Glut, creatine?

BCAA's: Scivation Xtend. The mango flavor is money.

Glutamine: On or Metabolic Nutrition T.A.G.

    Not a fan of creatine.

OP - I would suggest just looking online. Amazon is a good start, here in the UK we have MyProtein, Bodybuilding Warehouse, The Protein Works, etc which all sell their own brand of supps at very affordable prices. Im sure you'll find something, id suggest avoiding big brands unless they're on a really good deal, as you typically get shafted on the price/gram.

Keep it simple and buy the products separately.

Stick with quality Bcaa and Leucine and creatine mono or mix mono with hcl that worked better for me

Yes but that would be assuming the person taking it has an existing tumor or similar. Hell, we'd probably have to rule out a ton of supplements along with other items that help to enhance our physiques. That said, I think it's pretty much a waste of money anyway.

To my knowledge it does increase your chance to get cancer even if there's no tumor at all. I agree it's waste of money. Most supplements are useless and imo some other compound too like hgh-slin-synthol-esclin-igf1 I believe most bodybuilders can reach Mike mentzer level without touching gut building compounds

Can't argue that. Existing or possible pre-disposed to it. And yes, in essence most guys do far more AAS etc., than they actually require to achieve their goals. Nature of the beast I guess.

I think they're just lazy to train hard and not all of them have the knowledge I saw few to no bodybuilder do Mike mintzer heavey duty routine Or even giants sets or other tough programs even when they're on cycle but some may go on 500mg test a week and get unbelievable results.
