    who knows about taking b 12 to increase appetite?

    has anyone ever heard of this? i read that you inject it. is this effective for increasing your appetite?

    Yes it works. However in my experience some people need higher doses then others. I know people who do well with 500mcg/eod then I also know guys who use as much as 1000mcg/ed.

    B-12 is't toxic so no need to worry about unwanted side effects. My advice would be to start low 500mcg/eod or every third day and see how it goes if need be incearse the frequency or dose.

    you can also take it in sublingual form and if done you need to take it in 2-3 seperate doses due to it being a water soluble vitamin.eg. 500mcg x 2-3 doses daily.

    The sublingual form isn't nearly as effective, the intramuscular method is by far the best. bermich you can get it from vets, or buy it online from canadian pharms. And I thought i remember high levels of b12 being toxic... but they have to be rather high levels.
