Here's a list of the foods I eat that are protein rich:
    -Boneless, Skinless Chicken breast
    -Ground Bison (buffalo)
-Vension (not the sausage that stuff is way fatty)
-Beef (ground round 95% lean or better, eye of round, top round)
-Pork (boneless sirloin chops, pork tenderloin)
-Fish (albacore tuna, salmon, orange roughy, haddock)
-Turkey (ground turkey breast, deli meats)
    -Fat Free Cottage cheese
    -Skim Milk
    -Whey Protein
    -Natural Peanut Butter

With the exception of the peanut butter all of these things are quite high in protein content and low in fat. The only ones with carbs are the milk, cheese, and peanut butter. Hope this helps. Also with all of these foods learn to love different spices. Oregano, cilantro, Mrs. Dash, garlic, curry powder, Tabasco sauce, mustard, etc. all help to make meal after meal less bland. Stick with it. Good nutrition goes a long way. Mark

detour bars = snickers with protein IMO.....I'm a fan of a Six Egg White Omelete with a serving of fat-free shredded cheddar...about 30 grams of protein.

Speaking of great-tasting bars...I gotta say TRI-O-PLEX! They are by far the best bars ever IMO....cant buy the box or I'll eat em all at once!

i like the idea that Tri-O-Plex gets most of the carbs from whole grain, but i dont like that there's so much Soy protein in it. I've heard that Soy protein can raise estrogen levels.

I love cottage cheese.... For those of you that cant stomach it try it with a little fat free french or catolina salad dressing. It's really good! I go through about 4 tubs of it a week.

If you like olives try throwin minced olived and tuna and any green crunchy veggie in with cottage cheese. Olives mask the nasty salty boring tuna taste. The omlette deal is whats up too. Ham/turkey bacon eggs and cheese on whole wheat. I been puttin 3 egg whites mixed with jalepeno peppers under my burger patties too.

Oh and lean ground meat seasoned with taco or any seasoning. I keep it in my fridge and add it to wgg white omlettes. Also mixw it up in the pan with eggs and cheese and put in whole wheat tortillas.
