All depends on the individual, some people don't want weightlifting to run there lives, but still want some decent shape. On the other hand though, you can't expect a whole lot if your mixing partying and lifting together. I stradled the line of doing this for 2 years, I always figured I was one of those people that could get away with it. I would still eat all my meals as scheduled, drink my water with beers, get in proper amount of protein, thought I had it all figured out till I realized that I wanted more, and the choice came of what's more important, and the difference was night and day IMO. :frown:
