    shakes for a 7 yr old

    i use whey powder mixed with another protien sup=80 mg protien per shake
    my question is this my 7 yr old son has bad eating habits and i was giving him 1/2 glass of my shake just so he has some sort of nutrition ,is this a bad idea or what.

    I don’t know guys. Are your shakes sweetened with aspartame? If so, then I wouldn’t suggest doing it anymore. It’s not very good for adults so it’s definitely not good for little kids

    A 7 year old doesnt need 20g of protein let alone 40! That is way to much. His body is excreting 75% of it right through those developing kidneys. You dont even need to be mixing whey protein with another protein supplement. 80g??? What do you need all that for? A child that is still developing needs good whole foods. That is what you should be encouraging.
