How much water is to much?
I have, what i think, is some discomfort in my right kidney. I usually drink four, 32oz waters a day. Do I need more? Less? Is 32oz to much at one time?
Thanks for any input.
Also, can I judge a correct water level by how much I'm pissing? I use caffiene(coffee) & ephedrine(at times); they both start the pipes to flowing.
Thanks.

too much water can cause injury to the brain by causing swelling in the brain, you might remember the kid pledging a frat in texas who drank 3 gallons of water in a short time period and slipped into a coma.

Just shoot for 2-3 gallons per day along with your normal eating plan. The swelling the brain was caused by lack of sodium and because what little sodium he did have was washed off his brain...

when u start feelin drunk, what everyone is talkin about is called water intoxication, its lethal and very very hard to get, so i doubt you have to worry, just dont drink a extremly large amount in a short time.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to double my intake to two gallons & stay with the 32oz at a time.

I don't know how you guys can handle so much water..doest this affect the digestion of your food? I've successfully done 1+ gallons a day religously but i can't see don't 2 per day year round especially in the winter

Have you seen a doctor about the kidney discomfort? How painful is it. Cranberry supplements have always helped me and everyone that I've recommended them to. And you can also try what I think is called Uva Ursi or something like that, its a natural diuretic (sp?). I don't have any personal expeience with it, but my mother swears by it.
