Whey Protein shake lose nutrients
Hi guys...
I will prepare at night a whey protein + milk + oatmeal + fructose all mixed up for drink in my job the next day, but I need to know if it lose nutrients preparing it at night and drinking it the next morning.
Some one knows?

dont think so..(assuming u are keeping it refrigerated).. just hope it doesnt turn to cement thats ur only worry

I read somewhere that the protien does breakdown overnight.

ye..i read a long time ago that protein mixed in water and not consumed too long, it will lose some nutrients..but i'm also a bit skepical..any ideas guys?

From what I can recall... you dont wanna have whey mixed for any length of time.
I would recommend:
a) if you can buy a carton of milk at work do that, and mix it there
b) mix it w/water instead at work (if you can bear it)

here are the stats .....
whey protien mixed in only water , optimum consuming time 6 hours from prepared time .
why protien mixed in milk + yogurt + water and other fruits or goodies ......
good to drink optimum time 8 hours ( after that it starts to smell like poo*)
this was done at our lab , where i work , we did this experiment since i make up my shake and wanted to see how long it lasted ....... before i can drink it .... loosing nutrients , in only water very fast ................ plus other stuff less fast ............... best thing is i keep the whey in a zip lock and make it at work when i wanna drink it ......... if not dont keep it more than 4 hrs before consuming !
