Supplements every Weightlifter should have
Sorry for all the questions, but I am in the offseason for football and I want to gain every last bit of muscle and strength I can before the season
So I was wondering what are all the supplements that I should have as a Weight lifter, I have the protein, I have the creatine, but I am wondering about like vitamins, amino acids, etc. like ZMA etc.
Basically what supplements do you all take?
And what are they used for?

I have tried most of them over the years here is what works and the order of what i would spend my money on 1st.
1. whey or some type of weight gainer
2. Good muti-vit
3. Glutimine Peptides
4. Vit C
5. Creatine
There is NO replace for real FOOD!

EC had covered the best ones, some people take amino acids but a good quality protein powder will have these in anyway.

I would throw in zinc @ 50mg a day. I have the ZMA but the zinc content is low. Plus plain old zinc is quite cheap at your local wal-mart

Vit C is good anti-ox, or basicly helps keep toxins out of your system. Again it's VERY cheap at walmart 50mg zinc per day i find i start to get metal taste after about 2 weeks so i take it EOD.

glutamine is glutamine for most part, i prefer glutamine Peptides, as larger percent are absorted by body, and absorted faster the l-glutamine. As terms of brand name, i have been using sport science as of late, but if your in us i would order bulk from Protienfactory.com good price, good product.
