Creatine with 7up?
I have heard all the buzz about effervescent(spelling) creatine and how it's soposed to be better because it dilutes more this way.
Have any of you tried taking creatine with 7up?
I did, and that stuff just bubled like crazy and it was all diluted!
Not a white grain was left!
I think this was the smothest creatine I've had yet.
Any comments?

I dont have any evidence, but that just dosn't sound right. Try it with water or grape juice. I dont even mix it in, i just put the creatine in mouth and then down it with a mixer

Hi,
I could be wrong but I've heard from many people that consuming caffeine while taking creatine will reduce the effectiveness of the creatine, so if thats true wouldn't 7up be a bad choice to mix it with ?

There was a British study done examining the up-take of creatine within the body, and they mixed it up in .....wait for it.....Tea! We Brits love our daily cuppa.
But it just goes to show that you can mix it up in hot water. I've been doing this for the past twelve months, with grit and no complaints.
With a dash of Ribenna, it's delicious!!

I don't drink 7up or anything similar. My new jingle is "Milk and water make me look hotter!"

OK guys, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT take creatine with 7up.
Sure it went down smooth but I have to confess that I got the world's gnarlyest diarrhea you can imagine!
It's just my nature to always try new stuff but this is a definit no-no.
keep pumping.

Creatine is not as effective when mixed with an acidic drink. It is best to mix creatine with grape juice or another comparable juice. Consume lots of water throughout the day or the effects of creatine will be minimum. Take care

Also forgot to mention that the bestr is the basic creatine powder, I would stay way from effervecent creatine and liquid creatine. just my $.02 though, but studies and personal experiences have proven the old creatine powder to be the best.

I am going to see if I can find the article, but a few months back in MMI, they had an article talking about how effervescent creatine was nothing but a big load of BS.

i'm not saying to take creatine with a soda but i read in FLEX, I'm pretty sure it was FLEX that creatine and caffeine worked really good together for SOME people it did say it wasnt for all. They just said take a caffeine pill. Don't kill the messenger.
