    Back exercise

I recently hurt my shoulder, took some time off and now I'm back in the gym. The back exercise's I normally do, pull downs or row tend to pound on the arms and shoulders and I want to give it more time before I start them again.

What's a good back exercise that limits hitting these areas?

    Thanks for any info

do any exercise you want, decrease weight and use strict/proper
form and you should not get that "pound" on the arms and shoulders

if use your arms as "hooks", then it should take the shoulders out of the movement. i just think that if pulldowns and rows bother your arms and shoulders, then almost every back exercise will. like DD said, try dropping wieghts for a while and using perfect, strict form

What you could do are Good Mornings, just be careful, if you get carried away you could hurt yourself.

Thanks guys. I've give it a shot today. It was hurting me again Friday after working out so I'm going to make a doctor appointment today.
