    Forearm builder tips?

    Anyone?

I get my forearms pumped when I do arm related workouts...eg, arms, back, shoulders etc, but they cant seem to grow accordingly with the rest of the body, I want to get'em huge like a goldsmith or popeye

Any good mass building tips for these suckers?

    Thanks

the best way i've found to build mass on forearms is to stop using straps for any exercises, including pulldowns, rows, deadlifts, and shrugs.

Do exercises that increase grip strength, incresing your grip strength will make you hands and forearms stronger, and stronger = more muscle.

I was thinking the same thing...
But honestly, try an old hockey routine...
Take a bar (foot wide or so)....dangle a plate from it, connected by a rope. Curl the bar, with your arms parallel to the floor, and fully extended. And make sure you keep them parallel. Sounds far fetched, but we did this in hockey to improve our wrist shots. Works like a charm. Also, wrist curls are great.

this may be the same thing you're talking about, may not

but anyway, get the bar (usually the end of a barbell), have the weight dangling from the rope, turn the bar in your hands until you have finally wound the rope all the way up to the bar, then reverse your turns, slowly lowering the weight to the floor

when i do this i usually use a 5lb weight and go down, then back up 3 times...if i can make it that far. after this your forearms will be massively pumped up and feel like they are going to explode out of your skin

That does work great. But you get wierd looks going to the gym with a pipe and a rope. I do that at home. At the gym, I get a dumbell or a barbell and do revers wrist curls and wrist curls hanging off the edge of a bench. Just keep your forearms flat on the bench through out the movement. Make sure that you let the barbell/dumbbell hang as far out on your fingers as possible with out dropping the wieght. Also, work it until failure. Forearms recuperate almost over night, just like calves. Work 'em every day if you can.
