    Need some help on this one...

    My training partner is trying to get me to do our morning workouts on an emtpy stomach. 6 days (3 cardio, 3 weights). I have been doing empty stomach cardio for a while now and like it, but never working out on an empty stomach. Says it will increase body fat loss, but Im having a hard time buying that. Is there any negatives/positives to weight training on an empty stomach? Anyone here weight train on an empty stomach?

    cardio yes weight training no. ive tried it in the past once and i did not feel great at all, i felt dizzy and lethargic i will never try it again. im curious to other peoples experiences as well.

    training? no, i ALWAYS eat right before, sometimes during, and right after a workout. Works great for me. Not sure about the body fat loss part.

    cardio yes b/c you have no glucose so your body uses fat for fuel. training though, thats retarted.

    yup the consensus is pretty much correct, cardio yes, weights no! and by the way the chick in the avatar is an up and coming porn star but not yet legal if you know what i mean.

    No empty stomach workout youll be just wasting time youll never be at your full potential.

    I read an article on training on an empty stomache a while back. The reason not to work out on an empty stomache is because you have no protein in you. Without a flow of aminos to repair tissue, your body breaks down your muscles and uses them for energy, somthing along the lines of protein breakdown or somthing
