chins and shoulder press, will make the muscles grow, but can't make your structure any bigger.

Heavy shoulder press, lateral raises and upright rows will help broaden your shoulders alot.

I've always found my pectorals to be disproportionately big and this has caused my back to spread pretty wide (end to end) when I'm standing up straight...that's what I've been told anyway...Maybe build up chest and shoulders and you'll seem broadened?

Standing Military Press (as I've posted before...) thickened my shoulders a lot.

id stick with seated MPs, standin allows you to cheat to much. lat raises are awesome... upright rows are good, but bustin it on lat raises will help the most id say

i disagree. weightlifting increases bone mass significantly, making it actually possible to widen oneself structurally as well as muscularly.

When you are younger, it is possible to increase the size of your rib cage a bit beyond what God intended, but that's about it.

Weight lifiting increases bone mass through density, not length or discernable width. The key being discernable, as in visible.

In addition to the lat raises and dumbell presses, hit your lats and upper back and pecs.

Upper body width is a combination of everything from the rib cage up.

Big, basic, lifts, lots of protein and time will do the trick.
