Mucles cramps after a workout can be caused by a number of things...Do you get the cramps while you are working out? Could be overexertion, do good warm up sets and stretch. Be sure to take some time between your sets and don't rush your workout.

Another big key is to make sure you drink enough water and eat enough potassium and calcium. Dehydration and low potassium/calcium can lead to muscle cramps.

i've heard that charlie horses were caused by potassium/sodium (the actual elements that are responsible for electron activity inside the body)
