    deltoid workouts

    well i wanna know some free-weight workouts for the deltoids. some advice plz

    The deltoids (shoulder muscles) are the muscle groups (front, middle and rear heads) that allow you to pick up your arms... basically.

    A good routine... What kind of training experience have you had till now. Are you a hardgainer or put on wieght rather easily?

    i dont know really , cause i put on heaps of weight if i dont do my running everyday but when i do run i cant put some weight on me , the only thing i do with my delts involve compound exercises , eg push-ups which involve so much muscle fibres , and also dumb-bell presses , i prefer doin free-weights than machines

    You sound pretty new to it and you should just stick the basic compound movements in a traditional pyramid routine, for now. Don't worry too much about machines but focus primarily on military presses, side/rear laterals, upright rows...

    Your best bet are front military presses and you want to work progressively by improving one of three ways: time to finish, reps performed, and/or the total load used...
