Jaw Exercises
OK this may be a foolish question or it may not-- im just thinking out loud here.
Anyone ever thought of developig their jaw muscles? I think it might look quite scary if you can tense your jaw muscles and have that ripped look along your face.
not sure what look a developed jaw would give to your face though-- would it make you look fat?
-so does anyone know of any equipment that you can use to exercise your jaw?

Well, You could do one of two things, practice going down on a guy (that'll get your jaw sore ), or take a hit of E/MDMA every night and chew gum.

Well lets see here. Arnold said he would eat stale bread and It really defined his jaw line. This is not a joke. Is anyone as dedicated as he was ?

He also told people that the secret to his size was salt. He told people to take 1/4 tsp of salt and then double it each day until you got to 5 tbsp and then 'pyramid' back down.

My point is that he used to fukc with people. Back in the 70's no one knew what steroids were so when people asked, he'd just make $hit up.

Seriously though if if you are looking for good jaw exercises here are a few. I have TMJ and have had lock-jaw before, my specialist gave me these jaw exercises to help with the jaw muscles:
- Resisted Opening - Cup palm under chin, open jaw slowly, and gently resist opening with hand under chin. Repeat ten times.
- Midline Exercise - Look in mirror, bite teeth together, and look at position of two center teeth on lower jaw (central incisors). Open slowly while watching these two teeth and attempt to keep lower jaw "centered" as you open. Repeat ten times.
- Simple Opening/Stretch - Open jaw slowly ten times as wide as is comfortable.
- Lateral Movement Exercise - Open jaw about one inch from clenched bite. Move lower jaw as far to the right (straight to the right without opening more) as is comfortable. Repeat ten times and then do the same on the left side.
- Neck Stretch - Attempt to touch ear to shoulder by bending neck and not raising shoulder. Repeat ten times and then do ten more on the other side.
- Sweat plus sacrifice equals success. - Charlie Finley
- It doesn't get easier, you just get faster. - Greg LeMond

Someone asked me about developing their neck today - the guy looked like he hadn't ever really been serious about overall development to begin with. When you engage in resistance training it effects much of your body - especially heavy compound movements... much of your body contracts. IMO - there really is no reason to focus on little things - especially jaw muscles - unless you already have some major muscular development... and in a fine tuning stage...

I get tense and clench my jaw. I have some pretty nice chomping muscles. When I bite down on my back teeth they flare out a bit. Not something that I would really want to develop any size on. As with most things, it sounds better in theory.
