i love legs. squatting at the end is the best. when your all tired and you have nothing left, you suck it up and hit it hard. i dont think it is over training more of a leg shocker, this i try to do every 3 or 4 week depending on what type of workout program im on. i really like to give quads and hams their own day.

I dont do much for legs, basically because I need to be able to run for long distances. Anyways I do:
    4 sets of squats
    4 sets of squat machine
    4 sets of leg press
    4 sets of stiff deads
    4 sets of curls
4 sets of extenssions (sometimes more, depending on energy)
Do calves in between sets as I rest.

i find this to be very helpful

5x5 on press i do 80% of the max and the last 2 sets ill add an extra 25 pounds on each side to squize the juices out.
5x5 on hack squats wide stand and also add like an extra 20 pounds in the last 2 sets try to go as heavy as possible without compromising (a 90 degree level)
5 sets of leg extensions 3 sets of 8 and 2 sets of 80%
5 sets of leg curlz 3 of 8 and 2 sets of 80% (for both seated and lay down)
5 sets of donkey raises i do 8 reps of medium to heavy weight( to get a full contraction at the top, I use donkey raises, seated raises, there is a machine but not sure what it is you are not standing but kinduh seating down not sure, and finish off with couple of heavy sets on standing raises.
    DONE
