My rips kind of slope away from my body so when I go too far down my thighs start to crush my ribs. It sucks but at least I know that is as low as my body is going to allow me to go.

I put my hands on the handles, and let the leg press go as far down as it wants to. My quads touch my chest.. knees by my face.

i guess if i cant make my quads touch my face i think it means that i am lifting too heavy of a weight? i will try lowering the weight next time.

whatever you do, just make sure you are fully seated while doing the leg press. i see so many people trying to do too much weight and are practically out of the seat.

gripping the handles will help stabilize your upper body while you perform.

I do somewhat shoulder width stand and legs almost at the top of the press machine so that when I go down my knees are at my shoulders and above my ankles...got it?

just make sure that when you do leg presses that you don't go so far down that your back rolls off the back of the seat. very bad for your lower back.
