"New" chest routine
My supervisor at work says he has a chest routing (bench press only) that will increase my 1RM by up to 40lbs. He is strong, and says this is the routine that helped him get to over 370 on a 1RM.
Here it is.........
Monday 5 sets of 5 @ 70% of 1RM
Thurs 2 sets of 5 at say 60%, then to failure on 3rd set. If over 10 reps, ad weight next week.
I may have missed something, but maybe it'll work.

try it see if it works
just remember his body is different from yours so dont get discouraged if it does not work for you
i normaly take my 1rm and drop 5-10lbs when i get that 6 times
i can normaly get my 1rm 2-3 times
then i take my old 1rm (that im now getting 2-3 time ) and work on getting that for 6reps after a month or 2 of doing that i load the weight to see what my new 1rm is and compare that to my old 1rm. i count my 1rm as a clean movement from top to bottom with no help
just some advice try it and see

He wants me to start his routine Monday, I'll update and let you know how it goes.
