    Question Is cardio better in the morning or evening?

    If trying to lose fat? Should you speed up your metabolism by cardio just before bed?

    Morning is the best time for cardio, you get the most bang for your buck. Which really sucks cause its so damn early!!!

    I do cardio at night, after a workout, but that's because I go to school at 8 in the morning.

    it's best in the morning because your body gets the most out of it. just sux cause thats the last thing most people want to do when they wake up

    Oh yeah, heard this one a lot from my friends. Wonder why that is?

    Did that "cutback" come after she had a kid? I have heard some of my friends say their wives cut them out almost completely for a few months after the kid was born. One got so frustrated he had to go get some pootang on the street and got HIV from it.

    His wife, needless to say regrets doing that.

    Best times for cardio:

    1) First thing out of bed in the morning when glycogen stores are low.

    2) Right after weights because glycogen stores are low.

    3) Before bedtime to burn the last of the carbs in your system up. This way when you fall asleep and your metabolism slows, you won't have excess carbs that will be turned to fat during your sleep.

    I read somewhere that doing cardio first thing in the morning before eating burns more fat than if you did twice the amount in the evening. I used to do it after my workouts, but all the pros seem to do it in the morning, so if you can stomach the early morning exercise than more power to you.

    Ever since I started doing it inthe morning, I can finally see my six pack. I invested in one of those elliptical machines, they are the best.

    Nico that is what I have statted using too, the eliptical machine over the regular treadmill. Hopefully the same thing will happen for me.

    I start work at 7 when i am on days..but i still make sure I hit cardio before I go to work on an empty stomach...it is the quickest way to get ripped
