Unhappy Loss of strength after injury..

about 2 months ago i suffered a neck/upper back injury and i just now started to get back into the swing of things. I am shocked at how much strength i lost. Im at about 55-60% of pre-injury capacity and it has been a very humbling experience. How long does it take to get back to full speed?

Depends, everyone is a little different but just make sure you don't push it or it will take longer. Start off at what you feel is comfortable and SLOWLY increase your weights.

It can take a while. I'm 2 years recovered from a torn ac joint then a torn rotator cuff 3 months later to the same shoulder. I still get pain alot while training. You're just gonna have to take it real easy for a while. Be patient, the improvements will come.

I'm 4 and a half months back into training after 3 and a half years off and am still falling short in some muscle groups from that which I used to be able to do.
