    back from x-ray

a week ago i went out of town and forgot my lifting belt at home.i went to the gym anyways and did deadlifts.i thought i could get away with going heavy, just this once, but man was i wrong.the next day my lower back was hurtin and stiff.i went to get an x-ray today and the tech said it looks like i have a compressed vertebrae.i have to wait to see what the radiologist says for a proper diagnosis before i know whats really wrong.

all i have to say is,if you go heavy protect your back!!

ill give an update when i get the results.for now i will halt training for a few weeks.

I would be very wary of chiropractors. Look online and you will see that it is a very questionable health practice. For example, Paul Benedetti's "Spin Doctors: "The Chiropractic Industry Under Examination" and issues of the Skeptical Inquirer shed light on it.

Yea I go to the chiropracters and its the most amazing relief ever.. everything is lose again.. feels great.. but physio really helps with ligaments and muscles.. if you can combine both its a great choice!

Don't rule out an osteopath either, that's what I'm currently seeing for lower back problems, and it's so much better since I've been going. I'm also seeing a physio. Combined, I'm definitely on the road to recovery!

Watch out for nerve problems with lower back injuries, they seem to be commonly found together, either one having direct effect on the other one starting. Keep a mind out for feeling "pins and needles" in your fingers. I've talked to a few people now who have both.
