    back injury:ice or heat??

    whats the most effective to reduce pain?

    the treament these days calls for ice immediately. Then ice and heat alternately usually the next day.. Since some time is past Just use the same routine Ice for 15 min heat for 15min something like that. Anyone else got some 02?

    You would be better off checking with your Dr!!! Depends on the type of injury~

    Muscle soreness?? or bone and joint injury...

    either way...

    ice 1st, not more than 15 minutes, then moist heat.. then repeat with the ice..

    drink lots of water...........
